ive been asked a few times if i was gay, and its pretty weird because the last few times, i knew what they were going to ask before they did. i cant specify any detail, but its noticeable somehow. instead of the normal fake "mornin! hows your day-" yadda yadda shit, they are already quiet, looking down, generally hands in their pockets or held behind their back. ill do the whole
>mornin! goin on break?"
and they dont answer. ill have figured out whats about to happen by now, but ill extend the moment a bit, give them some time, so they can go
>anon....are you gay?
then ill freeze for a moment, like i wasnt expecting the question, then laugh nervously and say "what? no, whered that come from?" and kinda brush it off and ignore it. as soon as i say no, the shoulders relax and their posture sort of relaxes as well, like they were holding their breath for a while then finally got to let go.
ive had openly out gay people ask me this, and do the exact same thing. what is it. why do they do this. do i intimidate people somehow? how could i be intimidating, im not tall, big, strong, forceful, anything at all.
