I understand (and sympathize with) your comment;
>>938962676 's recommended guidelines / preferred content;
and also acknowledge that there are images / comments, in the thread, that I personally do not like.
But there are no "off-topic restrictions" here on /b/ (apart from the brony-clop garbage that belongs on /mpl/)

Like it or not, the 4chan global and board specific rules (as applied here on /b/ - Random) together with the long-standing 4chan guidelines about "grey-area" content must take precedence over our own individual preferences, that are clearly divergent anyhow, and not recognized by 4chan as being valid.

As far as I'm concerned, I think it's better to tolerate the stuff we would prefer not to see and just filter out / hide the bullshit that we individually perceive to be so irritating as to be virtually intolerable.

Non-staff users (e.g. me) attempting to deter content that is not against the published rules has NEVER been effective on /b/ and all it does is to antagonise small factions of posters thus increasing the undesired content within specific threads.

>TL:DR : if content infringes the Rules, the proper action is to report it via the Thread or Post menus and hope that the Mods delete it.
