>The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who feel crushed in spirit
>Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
>I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
There is no challenge too difficult, no burden too heavy, no task too arduous, when our Lord Christ is there helping you along the way. You just have to ask for it, and genuinely mean it. Surrender yourself, your entire being, over to Him, and through Him all things are possible. There will be nothing to be depressed about when you understand that all suffering is fleeting, all sadness is temporary, and all hardship will be lifted off of you sooner than you think. For this mortal life is very short, but your soul is eternal. Any hardship you face here is a mere blip on the radar of eternity. Accept the Lord and all suffering shall surely cease. Depression and anxiety and weariness are all but tools that the enemy uses to blind you to the shining light that beckons you towards peace through salvation.
I have never met a depressed Christian who has truly surrendered himself to God. Depression is but yet another struggle faced by the faithless who reject Him in their ignorance.
It is never too late to turn to Him. While you still live, His door is always open.
