you might have been androsexual or had the potential for androsexuality all along (unsurprising given like 97% of women are, due to evolution) but it was masked by things like low hormone levels and birth control-manipulated hormones. and like most women, you don't possess the potential to be significantly gynosexual, so you were left with feeling a lack of any sexuality
my understanding is that asexuality is a biological condition in like 95% of cases, not exactly a sexual orientation. (sexual orientations obviously also are biological conditions, but they're just the common programming conditions, while asexuality is generally due to abnormalities of a different category from how non-asexuality manifests)
that doesn't necessarily mean it can be reversed in any particular person, but it actually often can be, if someone wants to attempt it
