That's the thing. You can't just deal with it. Every minute of every day spent walking on eggshells, worried that saying the wrong thing will trigger an outburst. No choice in what you get to do. Any delay in a response? Expect phone calls, threats and screaming. Even if it's just a few minutes late because you weren't paying attention or your phone died or something.
