There's the shame of not bearing offspring and continuing your lineage. There's the shame of letting another man dominate you (if you bottom). There's the shame of wasting your seed in the barren womb of a man (if you top).
However, if you reject that aspect of you, you won't be able to live with the shame of rejecting your true self. Admitting you're gay now, when it's just your father? or waiting until you're married, possibly with kids, before the shame of rejecting your feelings overwhelms you and drives you away from them?
