Different tastes for different people, I guess. I liked both of species, especially the eyeball tentacles species, T. Ocellus who exhibits human like intelligence. I have very little empathy for any of the main characters, especially the hybrids, who are mostly psychotic, especially, Nibs. Hermit seemed the only sane one.
