In the 50 richest (median household income) counties in America, only NINE were under a Republican State Trifecta, while 30 were under Democrat State Trifectas. The rest were not under a state trifecta.
26 of those counties vote Democrat on average, 20 vote Republican on average, and the remaining 4 are swing counties.
Of the poorest (by median household income) counties:
33 are in Republican State Trifectas, the remaining 17 are not under a State Trifecta.
25 of those counties vote Democrat on average, 20 vote Republican, and 5 are swing counties.
These numbers are hilarious to me, because it implies that Democratic strongholds are rich and continue to vote Democrat, while the vast majority of Republican strongholds are poor and half of them are trying to vote Democrat.
