I still remember hearing one of his stand-up "comedy" back in the early 00s and the dude was grandstanding both about visiting a safe part of Iraq while it was technically at war and acting like a massive douchebag to Iraqi locals who offered him to sit down and drink with them.
I could never take him seriously after that.
