you're just afraid because you've been an outcast so long, and you're not cool so you have trouble making friends, and you've leaned on people with extremist views because they're willing to give you the affection you crave and validate your worst traits. you think if you give that up you'll be isolated. and maybe you will, but you'll have me to love you, and really i think you can make plenty of nice friends that don't impotently rage about politics all day long, i wouldn't be of any use there but my mom definitely would. she's so popular.
