Unless you have a lot of prior experience as infantry, can drive heavy vehicles, or have electronics/mechanic/engineering skills, you won't get much of a reception. Raw manpower isn't an issue, but specialisation is. If you can design/build drones, train troops, drive trucks or have specialist training in recon, artillery, MLRS etc. they'll very quickly find a place for you without once asking why you waited until now.
