I know that they're something like $3 or so nationwide at Trader Joe's for the non-fancy stuff. We bought our eggs at Acme or Safeway (don't remember which; I live equidistant between the two, but I think Safeway since a similar sale started at Acme this week) on Wednesday. The ones at Acme are slightly more expensive, a tray of 30 for $6.99 IE $2.33 per 10 rather than per dozen.
Speaking of Acme, we just got in from our weekly shop a couple hours ago and had lunch but while out, that was one of our stops. I noticed something: besides the egg price I quoted you, Rice•A•Roni was on sale for $1 per box. Thing is, most of the boxes had 50¢ off coupons. Well, Acme (and Safeway) double paper coupons. That means that Rice•A•Roni is free right now at Acme. We only took one box to test my theory (and it was valid) but I plan to go back later today and get one of every variety. We don't eat that stuff, really, but if it's free, it's for me and what we don't eat, we'll donate.
