Despite all the bad leaks I really like this shot if a theory I like is correct. A long time ago someone posted that their interpretation of Vox and Alastor’s old friendship was that while Vox idolized Alastor, Alastor enjoyed Vox’s company but never really saw him as an equal more like an entertaining pet. Even in the first season there is no point where Alastor acts threatened by anything Vox does and laughs it off the entire time. If that’s how it was this looks the first time Alastor is realizing he made a mistake in underestimating Vox and seeing him truly as an equal.
