I'd easily be able to ignore it like the rest of cartoons the past 10 years (2015 was already 10 years ago ffs) if JG didn't have his name on it. The feminist creator actively spits on bro culture and dude behavior like Regular Show for being sexist and demeaning and devotes multiple strips to the girls berating and complaining about dudes being dudes, so this is just depressing. I don't know why everything has to be like this now, even the fun chill guy who made RS falls in love with shit like this and propels it further into the industry. I get the vague overlap in humor and weird slice of life fits his niche but the rest is an active insult through millenial humor feminist ramblings.

Seeing how much JG changed since around the end of Regular Show just makes me feel miserable worrying about what the fuck will happen to its revival. At least Close Enough was its own thing so when they did a whole episode about feminism and overthrowing the patriarchy where women scrub floors and can't vote it was with characters and writing already introduced like that, Emily talks about being a feminist around episode 1 so what difference does it even make.
