I see this from copers all the time but a sequel boom wont happen all becasue if Lucas was at the helm still and the Sequels were exactly the same, Lucas would actually push the timeline hard with specific sequel era cartoons, comics, and video games in order to get the current generation of kids into it who will later defend the sequels.
That didnt really happen under Disneys control, they made one sequel cartoon said it was too hard and went back to clone wars pandering.
