Inflation exploded due to worldwide supply chain issues and greedflation and then the war in Ukraine impacted it as well. I’m sure government spending influenced it too but considering how every country in the world was dealing with the same issues globally and there was no universal pump money policy around it’s a bit much to just claim the single reason for it was because the government for once subsidised people and not corporations and that ended pretty quickly
