No one animates in the US, the jobs here are storyboarding positions. Those Also quit having any level of training or entry level positions around 2010-2012. No one new can get in any longer unless they are born into it and have connections from an early age.
All jobs in all studios in California are story gigs, story artist, story timer, or story revisionist. People need to quit calling them animators and listing examples of animators from the 1950s when talking about jobs right here right now.
