Autists have a weird fixation on hating the early adaptations of video game characters
Like i always found old Mario, Zelda, and sonic adaptations interesting because studios were just trying to make a cartoon based off a video game where the only lore and guidance from Nintendo and Sega were the game books
Today its like seeing a carnival toy rip-off of characters you like, but for the generation before you these were the characters which is funny
But the haters really don’t want to think of the characters existing this way
