I see what you mean, though I can't quite relate to that because there isn't a single community where I perfectly fit in. Sometimes I find people who agree with me on some things, but it's usually part of a bigger circlejerk I don't agree with on the broader issues.
More to the point, being constantly challenged on your beliefs isn't necessarily good for the psyche. When you want others to be challenged, you're most likely projecting your own uncertainty and simply wish for others to experience the same anguish you do. In principle, one can be an idiot never stepping past their comfort zone and lead a happy life. No one put us in this world with the explicit purpose of learning there is to learn, after all.
