The second thing isnt necessarily mini batman, it can be similar but its not necessarily that, and all the bad stuff that happened to tim does feed that take on some level. Red Robin is defintely where it was at its best, but it was also challenged, and you still had his YJ friendships, dick and steph as important connections that help ground him, or where attempting to at least.
