>it arrives a few weeks later
>I skim the instructions and unbox it
>it's smaller than I thought
>I power it on
>"Drone Activated."
>it sounds like a man
>can't remember if there was any customization options on the site
>whatever
>"Hey." I said.
>it turns around
>it's projected eyes blink once
>it smiles
>"Hello!" It said with a cheery female voice
>guess that earlier voice was just some pre-recorded dude
>"Clean my bathroom." I ordered, pointing down the hall. "Cleaning stuff is in the closet next to it."
>the drone smiled excitedly
>"Okay." It said before walking down the hall
>a few weeks later
>the drone has been great
>everything is spotless
>it does my laundry
>it stands in the corner when I don't need it
>one day, when out shopping, I see a little yellow hat
>think about accessorizing the drone
>buy the hat
>order a matching dress from online
>don't want to go to the children's section of a clothing store
>give items to it
>it gasps and quickly puts them on
>it runs to the bathroom to look at itself
>it returns and thanks me
>kind of cute seeing it so happy
>a few months later
>it's sweeping the living room
>it's humming a tune
>a tune that it's been playing for quite a while
>ask it what song it's humming
>it doesn't know, it just heard it one day
>don't know how it heard a song I've never heard of when it never leaves
>whatever
>few days later
>it's still humming the song
>decide to use an app to identify the song
>it's a song called A Human's Touch by someone called TWRP
>play it on my speaker
>it doesn't sound bad
>notice my drone staring at me
>it looks nervous
>start reading lyrics ahead of the song
>realize what it's about
>turn off song
>ignore the drone staring at me until it goes back to sweeping
>it doesn't hum the song ever again
>a week later
>the drone is acting weird
