I truly hate how celebrated South Korean culture is nowadays. It's just as alien to me as seeing normies partaking in "camel jockey oil barron" aesthetics (Dubai chocolate, Lambos, Andrew Tate).
Not only South Korea in general is a straight up Phillip K. Dick tier cyberpunk social ratrace hellscape, Koreans in general are pretty much NPCs. They have no souls, they function by feeding lines of code in form of social programming.
If you never interacted with them IRL, you can see it by how vapid their pop culture and lifestyle is.
The shitty soap operas, the cheap Fila clothes.
Listening to fucking idol music and being so mentally tapped that you don't have a problem with the fakeness, lack of authenticity, the overly controlled image. Completely flies over their heads.
Everyone botching their faces through surgery so they can all look indistinguishable.
Their critically-praised films reveal how their collective conscious is so morally corrupt - Parasite, Oldboy.
Maybe the Japanese and the Chinese are right.
