I mean plot armor's kind of inescapable when you're dealing with power scaling. Unless you're going for a "Villain wins, everyone dies" ending there has to be some way for the protagonists to win. Also bear in mind Cyn was so strong it took Uzi, N and V just to put her in a position of vulnerability AND ultimately they can't even actually kill her, she's just going to torment Uzi in her head forever.
