"making friends" is kind of a stretch, she beat it into being somewhat tamed and the Red Sentinel was damaged / is malfunctioning because of Tessa / Cyn / Solver's spooky blood and the reboot.
Even then it's still not really friendly it's just played more for comedy especially with how it tries to attack Lizzy and the WDs. I think you're just getting a bit too worked up about the comedy aspects when they're not meant to be taken THAT seriously, it's a horror comedy afterall.
