Black Star is probably Ohkubo's favorite, but that just means he gets to do the coolest physical stuff.
He doesn't really get to have nearly the heart-to-heart sort of stuff that Maka gets.
Maka and Soul get to show off a lot more in terms of esoteric abilities, like giving a supporting baseline for the Madness Wavelength for DtK and Black Star.
In addition to this they have the anti Madness Demon-Hunt, are able to dive into Asura to save Crona, have better regeneration because of Black Blood, and were able to hack into the Clown Lasers.
