It's fine to never marry, but you're making the issue here something I'm not even talking about. You're making your introversion here a big part of this, and that initial hurdle, going out and finding someone, can't be helped if you ultimately have to go out. I'd say keep trying online dating and make it known you're an introvert. The matches you don't get are filtered based on people who value going out and doing things.
