It's also worth pointing out that the 'endearing' aspect of Cyn we get to see during her stay in Elliott manor is already just a puppet show put on by Absolute Solver, as Cyn's original mindset and personality that she might have had before waking up at the junkyard were overwritten by the Solver. Hell, her only real (as in: not narrated by herself in a flat voice) emotion was annoyance over Tessa repeatedly interrupting her monologue.
