As a true RWBY fan I want Ruby to lose
Why you ask? Because CRWBY (the people who make the show) are famous for being reactionary and overcorrecting.
If Ruby wins the episode they will just celebrate and go on like normal.
But if Ruby loses they will notice how the fandom didn't like that and will write her super busted in volume 10, likely finally giving Maiden powers to some of the girls (Ruby becoming the summer maiden Weiss the winter maiden, etc).
Basically losing this fight might give Ruby the means to win the war in the long run
