Disney is making Ice Age 6. And frankly Blue Sky was making a bunch of under performing movies in general. Without Ice Age Blue Sky would have died on their own. Disney saw that their film history was not good outside of Ice Age.
And even then the last theatrical Ice Age film wasn't that grand of a success. Makes me wonder how much cash at the box office will Ice Age 6 make.
