Don’t. I hate-watched it for a while during the end of season 1 into the following two seasons, back when I had such luxuries. The people saying S1 was good are literal faggots who care about nothing besides how many faggots are on the screen at once. It is the first 100% unrestrained jewish wokeslop propaganda cartoon, and the lack of self-control of the creator shines through every minute of runtime. At no point does it ever approach “good”. The novelty of using the google material web color picker in storyboards quickly wears off. It ran for long enough to accidentally have some interesting setups, but as soon as the writers realize that, they quickly squash it, sometimes in the very next episode. I wouldn’t even recommend watching it as a lesson in what not to do for animation.
The mishandling of peridot and yellow diamond was especially egregious.
Peridot is basically Invader Zim but with every last redeeming quality stripped away and replaced with an equally extreme negative quality. Where Zim is strong-willed, peridot gives up and relies on others. Where Zim is a skilled engineer, peridot can barely work an iPad despite existing solely to work with technology. Where Zim has an indomitable personality, peridot is submissive to the point of other characters in the show cringing. I have no idea why anyone likes her. She is made to be as pathetic as possible, and no human should relate to her in any way.
Yellow diamond also starts off being presented as a major threat, but gets talk-no-jutsu’d after proofing just…you guessed it…peridot. I can’t understand how in a show all about strong powerful wahmen, they felt the need to turn yellow from a strict businesswoman to a spazzy aunt-like figure. Her design is literally a girlboss, how did they fuck even that up?
