Beth is literally the ideal finalist in theory

but the writing was about as flimsy as Mike's toothpick arms. They blew their whole "Beth becomes confident" arc in the literal first two episodes by giving her a girlboss speech in Episode 2, twiddled their thumbs for about 10 episodes before randomly making "muh boyfriend" her main character trait, twiddled their thumbs for another 10 episodes and then suddenly it's just Duncan and Beth. They had the sexiest layup possible but prejac'd all over the place then didn't know how to clean things up.
