No because there was no anonymous posting. Not to mention the communities depending on what they were were smaller. Some of them were bigger. Like one of the most busiest boards that I was ever on was the WWF raw is war 1997 IMDb page. When talking about IMDb. But if movies came out they'd have like a very strong presence and they were very busy like there was a lot of discussion. This was a good place to have conversations about reality TV shows as well and I'm sure they had their own forums. But when I was watching like all the VH1 reality TV shows and competition-based reality TV shows I would go to those respective IMDb forums and just post there your name is there like you come up with a username you have, your you can have a signature you can have a profile like with the biography and everything like that. Not to mention in boards where everyone post the way that they do, even if somebody got banned or left the really, really outrageous schizo people that plague every single one of these boards because they're posting habits are attributed to an actual name. It's easy to pick them out when they type the same shit. But the most busiest board that I was on was South Park studios. The BBS. A lot of good memories originally went on the IRC to talk about in South Park. Remember Mirc and the what was it called INVISION or whatever irc software where you could alos preprogram bot responses or make bots. But the irc southpark chat died slowly with everyone indicating that they were going to the forum.
I had a level of friendship with the person that was the runner of the entire South Park studio's website that anytime I might have gotten banned I would have gotten unbanned.
