timing wise i think it would make sense that Grace fixes her own spine first. maybe that even influenced Barbara and she's a little ashamed of not helping Grace now since Barbara never had to become monstrous.
would Grace hate her for it? would she simply resent the difference in access to resources that forced her to experiment on herself? would she be unexpectedly understanding simply because she knows the indignities of being paralyzed that way? it's a conflict i'd really like to see.
