I think it's because a lot of that stuff came out before it became more apparent that Vivzie wasn't actually intending to play with the kind of Dante's Inferno/Paradise lost lore or the demonology/angelology she studied for the shows.
Once that became more apparent, I think a large amount of the male audience just sorta tapped out.
Especially in regards to everyone slowly realizing there was no plan to bring Michael in on the heaven side of things.
