I always felt like her turning fully ogre completely fucked with the story. True love is accepting someone no matter what they look like, not "you can only be with someone who looks just like you." Like, Jesus Christ, Donkey has that exact fucking story arc where he falls in love with and fucks a dragon, and it's just used as comedy.

I mean, not that I wouldn't clap Fiogre's colossal green butt cheeks, but the idea that Human Fiona has a bunch of crude ogre-like quirks because she's socially maladjusted due to spending most of her life locked in a tower and as such her perfect prince is a likewise socially maladjusted loner weirdo ogre just seems... I don't know. More poetic? Like the bizarre life experiences of these two very otherwise disparate people facilitate a love only they could share.

Does that make sense? Am I rambling?
