The artist had a term of service which was a crappy thing to do but again you didn't need to pay for that artist. I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand but if an artist has a terms of service that consists of something about don't drop this into AI and you break that you're breaking their terms of service which is a jackass thing to do and commissioning art is not a right. You can literally go to another artist and get the same work done.
