In episode 5 there was the online betting. Episode 2 had internet content creators (Kirk) and Episode 3 had Randy rely on ai assistants.
Maybe this is a rather trivial pattern though. It'I find it plausible that enough modern 'conflicts' are internet related that this pattern inevitably appears.
