Well their portrayal is essentially meant to be thought of as bolt-on Christianity, like the fake filler DD bolt-on tits that Bimbos have. The aesthetics of modern American Christianity either in general or amongst the Maga camp are considered fake and for show, far removed from genuine and empathetic Christian traditions, at least those espoused by Jesus Christ. Love your fellow man, be nice and give unto others, so on and so forth, doesn't seem to jive too well with the image of recent converts amongst the Trump camp and what they believe; many of them probably having not even read the bible while acting like they can call upon it as a moral authority that they also use as a shallow symbol to make themselves and their actions look better, so it is 'bolted on' Christianity.
