It's obvious that Coco is more beloved in Mexico mostly beacuse it has the Disney appeal, the irony is that both are now owned by them
I don't doubt Disney has tried to contact Jorge and DelToro to make a Book of Life sequel specially with Ice Age 6 and a sequel to The Simpsons Movie but Jorge is more focused in making original projects.
