Yeah man, I also hated what they did to Mundo. Went from a blue/purple freak to a blue/purple himbo, but people always complain when I point it out.
At the end of the day, I think the lesson is to just try and not get too carried away by trends and shit, and just try to be genuine in whatever you do. Don't try too hard to make a character who's concept is him being goofy or cartoony into something artificially appealing.
