If you gave me the writing for this, I'd add context which reveals that One was inherently overall a shitty person, even before she procured those powers. Perhaps she was manipulative, or a massive liar, or a bully, or just weird in an unpleasant way. Regardless, this is the reason they avoid her at all costs, as no one want's to deal with that shit.

The reason she seems bummed out about this is either because she didn't realise fully that her personality was dogshit due to ego, or she grew out of it for a bit but the others still held her past actions against her prior to the Yoyleites arrival.
