It's kinda implied she's like that in the episode already but I agree it wasn't enough. The manic face they give her when she realises what she can do with her powers, her outwardly bitchy demeanour towards Three whenever she couldn't show off, the fact that she immediately got angry and started threatening Three for daring to near """her""" rock. She only ever cared about getting attention and showing off, never forming a genuine friendship.
