Pixie gave up part of her soul to Darkchilde to save her friends. Rockslide realized he could get blown up and reform himself if he wants to. Prodigy got murdered then resurrected by Elixir. Elixir got all dark and twisty after learning he has powers over life and death. Surge freaked the fuck out when she found out David had died.
It's probably the peak of the series.
