Despite not being a die-hard Pixar/Toy Story fan and only seeing a couple episodes of BLoSC, I thought the show was fine for what it was. What happened with Lightyear, however, were clear cut examples of the following:
>Letting the inmates running the asylum
>2010's social rhetoric spilling over into escapism entertainment in damning ways
>Studios being so isolated in their own bubbles to a point where there's an obvious disconnect between them and the general public.
