the only problem i see are the things you made up. he was not shown to be meticulous in this movie so the supposed inconsistency doesn't hold up if that's what you base it on. my example of him being a good character were the scenes you described. i liked watching him be a cocky cock when he thought he was winnin, and throw a temper tantrum when he found himself losing. the oversight of his girl's sexy selfies was a good character because he's presented as self centered.
