I think it would be retarded to give Yugi every possible card. Nobody wants to see Yugi run some competitive deck with no signs of his iconic monsters.
I'd say the biggest stretch would be Yugi can use cards he's used, even if it was temporary and Ash can use Pokemon he's teamed up with for an episode/movie.
