So, are we just gonna keep the comic rewinded to the past now, or is it gonna return to the “present day” in Aurelia’s kitchen soon?
I’m sure this event isn’t all that far back, but the comic moves at such a fucked pace that it can take a whole year and hundreds of pages in real time just to cover a canonical weekend. And we haven’t seen Elliot or Clinton in a long ass while so they probably broke up like a week ago in comic time. Which, actually could fuck up the timeline quite a lot, since Yay only just resurfaced recently and this breakup is probably pre- Return of Yay. Hell, this event is probably happening before Ahn moved to Massachusetts.
Doing a flashback like this makes shit more confusing than usual and I hope he wraps this up quick. The breakup did not need to be shown in the first place, but stretching it out beyond the first page is just continuing to make things worse. If he switches to a whole new perspective outside of Clinton like to Cubetown next, I’ll feel even more lost.
