By all means bring up Wolvernie losing to street-tiers. He could lose to MGS2 Raiden under similar circumstances for all I care, but not MGS4 and onward who doesn't have the combat feats to justify it. It's ALL WE HAVE for MGS4 Raiden that he could take out Gekkos and he was fighting for his life against Vamp. This isn't a point you can argue. It's his entire portrayal as a character. MGR is the only thing that makes this discussion interesting and that's if you give him the benefit of the doubt on claw vs sword.
>do you think a normal irl person would beat Raiden in hand to hand because he "doesn't use a stat advantage"?
Obviously not without a stat parity. We're talking about two similar fictions in which humans can make the impossible, possible. Not even in terms of just raw stats, but the circumstances that lead one soldier to kill fifty men in a single mission and disable giant mechs.
