AEGIS does feel very much like OSI complete with their own take on The Nozzle. But then OSI is a pastiche of so many other organizations from SHIELD to GI Joe that this surprising. Plus the whole super villain whose gimmick was turning people into living furniture feels very on brand for Venture Bros. It's not like the people were suffering, they just had to keep being reminded they weren't a lamp or whatever.
