And in international theaters? Dreamworks gets a smaller cut of box office money. No matter how you slice it that's not a success.

For crying out loud if Dreamworks refused to give Mega Mind and Monsters Versus Aliens sequels due to having disappointing box offices while these made MORE money than Bad Guys well you understand where this is headed. Bad Guys as a property is a failure. No amount of "Lets use imaginary happy pretend time" will change it. People don't like these shitty characters and their story.
